Take the traditional square panelling, split barley twist turning and carved dog-tooth detailing, for example – just three of the 100 individual handmade components that go into this majestic bed.
This is a solid, opulent bed that makes a statement in any setting, from a traditional bedroom to boudoir-style sleeping quarters.
Raised panels on the head and footboards contribute to the majestic overall effect. Each is handmade and set into position in the time-honoured way. And, as with all our wooden beds, our craftsmen insist on solid mortise and tenon joints for a super-strong, super big bed.
The County Kerry is also available as a four-poster bed and boasts its own exclusive bedroom furniture collection, handcrafted to the same exacting standards as the bed.
There is no limit to the size of bed you can order. The County Kerry comes in widths of up to 7ft Emperor and 8ft Cesar, but we’re happy to build bespoke bed sizes, too.

Our optional under-bed storage drawers are the size of a large suitcase and the perfect place to store away bedding, duvets, jumpers… anything. Hand-crafted in the time-honoured way, just like our bed frames, under-bed storage is available with 2 or 4 drawers (depending on the bed design) to provide up to 16 cubic feet of storage space.
