Note the heavily moulded ‘ogee’ feet and the fine brass detailing (created exclusively for us by a British company with a 65-year pedigree).
Even the gentle curves of the low-slung base have been angled to create a bed of perfect proportions. Indeed, every element—from the 40mm gap between the wooden slats that deliver optimum mattress support to the hand-applied finish—has been refined and rethought by our craftsmen until it is exactly right.
If you need some extra space, we offer roomy storage drawers that can add up to 16 cubic feet of additional space, discreetly built into the base so they don’t detract from the fluid lines of the design.

It's a beautifully made thing, it feels very solid and planted, as you'd expect from a hand-made piece of furniture. I went for the no-draw option because I didn't need the storage space and I find that draws under beds are a dust magnet.The guys that delivered and built it for me were very efficient and friendly, they removed shoes at the door without asking, so they are obviously very thoughtful towards your property.The mattress option that I selected comes as a zipped pair, which has several benefits over a one piece super king. It would have been good to have been offered an option of different firmness levels for the two halves, but that isn't something that I could find on the order site.On balance, if you want a high end bed, worthy of a 5* boutique hotel, you couldn't do much better. Treat yourself.
