The next biggest size mattress is called emperor and they are 7’0″ wide x 6’6″ long. The next smallest size is a super king-size mattress and they are 6’0″ wide x 6’6″ long.

This mattress size is ideal for someone that wants something bigger than super king-size (6’0” wide), but has not got the room for an Emperor mattress (7’0” wide).
It depends on your requirements and your room size. But take into consideration that our handmade beds are slightly bigger than the equivalent mattress size because the mattress sits within the bed frame. Also think about what bedroom furniture you may require, or if you want a wooden bed with storage, because that will make a difference to the footprint of your bedroom.
