Our natural oak finish is the perfect choice if you’re looking for light oak bedroom furniture.

Grey oak bedroom furniture and white oak bedroom furniture finishes are also available, and we recommend a limed oak finish to achieve this.

Although oak is generally more expensive than other woods, this is for one good reason: oak furniture can last a lifetime.

Oak is widely seen as the perfect choice for furniture to last as long as possible. Its durable and sturdy nature means oak furniture is known to last for several decades or even a lifetime if cared for correctly.

Oak is also long-lasting in style, with oak furniture seen as a timeless addition to any home.

So, if you’re asking, “Is oak worth it?” then yes, as many customers see oak as a long-term investment due to its longevity.

All of our solid oak bedroom furniture uses natural materials. There are a few steps we recommend for caring for your oak bedroom furniture to keep its natural beauty:

  1. Keep your furniture out of direct sunlight and heat sources – like radiators.
  2. Use a dry, lint-free cloth to remove dust or dirt. Do not use any silicone-based cleaning or polishing products.
  3. You should avoid using any adhesives to stick anything to the wood, as this will likely damage the surface.
  4. For all of our natural wood finishes, apart from ‘limed oak’, apply a clear beeswax every six months to nourish the wood and build resistance. We recommend applying the wax with a dry, lint-free cloth and working it in the surface along the grain.
  5. Use coasters for glasses or cups to avoid water ring marks.
  6. Avoid contact with any chemicals like sun creams or hair and makeup products, as this can affect the finish of the wood.

Oak furniture is generally seen as a timeless addition to a home’s décor. Oak creates a warm and rustic look that many buyers still love for their home furniture.

In our experience, oak remains the most popular choice for high-end and bespoke furniture and is, therefore, still in fashion.

Want some bedroom colour ideas to compliment your oak furniture? Oak is very versatile and can be used alongside various colours. To add warmth, many interior designers suggest using bright colours like red, yellow, green, and orange.

Cooler colours like blue and teal can balance out the colour palette.
