This refers to the number of springs in a 5ft (king-size) mattress regardless of whether the mattress is a pocket sprung deck or a coil sprung deck.

The depth of mattresses can vary quite a lot. Foam mattresses like memory foam can be quite thin – as little as 8 inches (this doesn’t mean the mattress is poor quality). On the other end of the scale, a pocket sprung mattress can be as much as 14 inches deep depending on the spring count and the amount of filling. This can be a problem when buying a fitted sheet, but at Revival Beds, we can supply them made to measure.

All our mattresses are rotate only and should not be turned over. Rotate according to the care instructions for your model. The Next Generation Memory Foam mattress is the exception: it does not need rotating. The Next Generation Pocket Memory Foam mattress does need rotating.

Memory foam and latex are both types of foam. Memory foam is a man-made product, whereas Latex is entirely natural and harvested from rubber trees. Latex also offers a cooler sleeping experience.

These materials can be combined with springs within a hybrid mattress. Alternatively, each material can be used to make the whole mattress.

Some mattresses use materials or covers chosen with allergens in mind, but no mattress can be guaranteed free of allergens in every home. Check the materials and care guidance for the model you are considering, and ask us about any particular sensitivity before ordering.

When the springs within a mattress are all interlocking; this stops them moving independently of each other.

Mattresses are available up to 8ft wide, which means they can fit our larger bed frames, including our Emperor beds and Caesar beds. We can also provide bespoke mattresses to fit made-to-measure and extra-long bed frames.
