Luxury Super King-size Mattresses

Super king-size mattresses are 6’0” wide x 6’6” long. The next size up from this would be an eastern king mattress, which is 6’6” wide x 6’6” long.

We will ask about your stairs, turns, doorways and other tight points before delivery, and may need internal measurements to check the route. A one-piece super king mattress can be heavy and difficult to manoeuvre.

We generally recommend discussing a zip-link for super king and wider mattresses. The two sections are easier to move into a room and then zip together. If access is straightforward, we will still discuss the model, its weight and your preference before making a recommendation.

Compare the complete construction and feel of each model. The Classic range offers traditional pocket sprung options; Platinum adds different fillings and spring constructions; Diamond includes the 7,000, 11,000 and 14,000 pocket spring models. The Diamond 14,000 has a lambswool pillow top and a ten-year guarantee, while other Henry Smeaton mattresses have a five-year guarantee.

For our pocket sprung models, the number indicates the spring count in a king-size mattress. For example, the Classic 1000 has 1,000 springs and the Diamond 14,000 has 14,000.

Spring count is only one part of the construction. The spring units, fillings, comfort layers and tension all affect the feel, so compare the whole mattress rather than choosing by the number alone.

Prices vary by model, size and made-to-measure requirements. A zip-link mattress in super king size or wider has no additional zip-link charge; king size and smaller carry an additional charge.
