Choosing a Double Mattress

A standard double mattress measures 4ft 6in × 6ft 3in. We also make small doubles at 4ft wide, and can discuss a made-to-measure length up to 8ft. Every Henry Smeaton mattress is handmade to order. Think about your delivery route as well as your preferred feel. A double zip-link may be useful if stairs, doors or turns make access particularly difficult; an additional charge applies at double size. We can discuss the right option before you order. Only the foam-only Next Generation Memory mattress can be bent for access. Mattresses with springs must not be bent.

Delivery and installation are free when you buy a mattress on its own. You do not need to buy a bed frame. We can remove and recycle your old mattress for an additional charge when you purchase a new one.

Henry Smeaton mattresses have a five-year guarantee, except the Diamond 14000, which has a ten-year guarantee. The range is non-turn: rotate the mattress according to its care instructions, apart from the foam-only Next Generation Memory, which does not need rotating.
