Does it suit the property?
Choose a style that feels right for the building and its setting. Furniture should work with the room’s colours and character, while still feeling welcoming in listing photos. Aim for a consistent look across the property rather than buying pieces that compete for attention.
Will guests find it comfortable and useful?
Think about the people you hope to host and the length of their stays. A comfortable bed and mattress matter to almost every guest. Storage, a place to sit and space to put everyday items can also make a stay more practical. Check the mattress options available before choosing a bed.
Will it fit the room and the way people move through it?
Measure the room, doorways and access route before ordering. Allow space to open drawers and wardrobe doors, make the bed and move around safely. In smaller rooms, fewer well-sized pieces may work better than filling every available space.

Check that furniture is stable, positioned securely where needed and does not obstruct exits or walkways. If you host families, consider whether the layout and furniture need extra precautions for young children.
