American East Coast classics

These beds evoke that clarity of design and coastal light that is typical of the East coast states. Simple and without any obtrusive ornamentation they nevertheless project a classic look that's ideal for a bedroom with a country feel or a coastal theme.

The Vermont uses a panelled design for a solid feel while the Maine is slatted for a more open impression, but both beds are strong, hard-wearing and immensely practical. You might have a beachcomber design but the bed certainly won't feel like it's made of driftwood!

Painted or waxed

The most common request is for these beds to be painted - usually in white or sometimes in an eggshell blue or similar seaside colour - but they can look just as good in a natural wood finish if that's the feel you're after.
