One of the key beds in our Arts & Crafts style collection, the Liberty bed is a splendid example of everything a good British handmade bed should be. It's chic, it's 'boutique', it's perhaps a little eccentric. But above all, it's beautiful.

A designer bed, through and through

You can follow the crowd. Or you can choose to be different with a bed that looks as stunning as anything you'd find in a glossy designer homes and interiors magazine.

Notice the way the side posts are subtly tapered, then angled again at the top. Check out the understated pear wood plaques inlayed into the head and footboard. Then take time to appreciate the intricate blackwork detailing which is echoed on the complementing chest furniture and wardrobes.

The Liberty solid wooden bed can be anything you want it to be: chic contemporary or reassuringly traditional. It's also available in two variations: a higher footboard (notice how the slender open panels create a light airy feel) and a low foot variation that lets you sit on the end of the bed in comfort.

There's something about Arts & Crafts styling that never dates. In fact with today's boutique hotel look, it's become extremely desirable – a 'must have' for the modern bedroom which needs to look as if you've invested a small fortune. (But only you will know that you haven't.)

There's no escaping it… this bed looks very expensive. It looks unique. It will never be mistaken for a cheap mass produced imitation from some far eastern factory. The beautiful Liberty bed is made by experienced craftsmen, in England, working in the way joiners, turners and carpenters have always worked – in amongst the wood shavings, lovingly creating your dream bed by hand.

Traditionally Arts & Crafts beds would have been made from oak. So we've developed a Pale Oak wax finish which recreates this look perfectly. Alternatively if you have a special colour in mind simply send us a sample and we'll create an exact-match finish.
