Even in the heart of the city you can now create your own coastal hide-away. Our New England furniture collection is the perfect complement to the tongue and groove Vermont and the slatted Maine beds.

Think beach huts and clapboard houses, slightly weathered by the salty air. The single door wardrobe especially is reminiscent of a beach hut, especially when painted in a distressed pastel finish.

Alternatively why not opt for the whole collection in a wax finish, hand-distressed to echo the look of driftwood upon the shore?

Carefully thought-through storage

The look is all about creating a serene, clutter-free sanctuary where every detail of the design serves a purpose. Nothing is superfluous, nothing is fussy. And the same goes for the inside, too.

The space-saving storage has been carefully thought through. Wardrobes are flexible, with a perfect balance of hanging space, drawers and adjustable shelving. There are deeper shelves for bulkier items like winter blankets or duvets, and neat pull-out drawers for knickknacks and jewellery. All work together to store things out of sight to keep the look clean and simple.

Because our wardrobes are modular, you can choose the combination that suits the way you live, even specify bespoke options. All drawers and shelves are sturdy and built to last, hand-crafted from solid wood with traditional dovetail joints.

The tongue and groove blanket box offers another versatile storage option as well as being a handsome piece of furniture in its own right. It looks perfect at the foot of the Vermont or Maine bed.

All bedroom furniture is made to order

As with the New England beds, everything is designed and hand-made in our Retford workshops by experienced craftsmen. It's also built to order. So if there are any special features you'd like to see, just ask. We'll be happy to oblige.

With the Revival Collection nothing is 'set in stone'. For instance left opening single door wardrobes and bedside cabinets can become right openers if that's more convenient. Likewise we can create a mirror version of the dressing table in the photograph.

Or send in your own choice of fabric for us to upholster on your bedroom stool. Even send in a sample of a particular colour you'd like us to paint your furniture.
