Waxed Natural Wood Finishes
Choosing the right colour for your bed and bedroom furniture can be almost as difficult as choosing the style itself. Some of our more traditional beds lend themselves perfectly to a Patina wax finish whereas others, especially the New England and French-style beds, look wonderful in hand-painted pastels.
To make it easier for you to choose the right look, we've described our range of finishes below. Or, if you'd like to receive free wooden swatches in a selection of wax or paint finishes, please call us on 01777 869 669.
Beneath the surface…
It takes time and patience to finish a Revival bed. Each bed undergoes a minimum seven part process over 48 hours that includes two levels of fine sanding, distressing, staining, de-nibbing (sanding between top coats), painting or waxing, and polishing. And each is expertly 'aged' and 'distressed' to look like antiques or heirlooms.
