Our Collection
- Q.
What exactly is a custom or made to measure bed?
- A. We are not bespoke bed makers. Although we can make many alterations and adjustments to the sizes heights widths and lengths of the beds and 4-posters in the Revival Collection. We can also make some minor adjustments to the style and design of the beds.
-
Q. What if I want a colour you don't provide as a standard.
- A. We have successfully colour matched and finished beds and bedroom furniture for many customers once they have provided an original colour sample to work from.
-
Q. Can I have a Revival frame and keep my divan bed and base?
- A. Yes, this is called a divan surround. If your divan bed has drawers you will need to take some measurement so we can fit the side rail in the right place.
-
Q. Can I buy a headboard without the rest of the bed?
- A. Yes, you will have to fit the headboard to your bedroom wall using picture brackets. Alternatively the Chatsworth bed can be made as to fit divan beds in sizes 3'0" to 7'0".
-
Q. How are Revival Beds finished?
- A. All our beds and bedroom furniture are either stained or painted and then given a final coat of wax.
-
Q. What wood is the Revival Collection made from?
- A. Firstly all the wood we use to make our beds and furniture is from renewable resources. We use both Quebec yellow pine from Canada and Scandinavian red wood.
-
Q. My bedroom has a low ceiling but I want a Fourposter bed
- A. If your ceiling is too low for our standard height fourposter beds we can make a custom fourposter bed for you with special size posts. All you need to do is provide us with the correct measurements and a drawing.
-
Q. Can I have a three quarter or a 4'0" bed or 4 poster bed?
- A. Most but not all Revival Beds can be made as ¾ beds.
-
Q. I am tall and I want an extra long bed
- A. All Revival beds can be made to any length you wish.
Mattresses
- Q. What mattress should I choose?
- A. Our brochure explains in detail the best mattress for you, it takes into consideration your size and the type of feel you expect. You will also get lots of sound advice if you call our experienced sale advisors.
-
Q. Why do you recommend zip together mattresses?
- A. We normally recommend these because they're safer for an individual to manoeuvre It's also better for the mattress because if the mattress gets bent double it can damage the internal construction - a quality 6‘0" or 6‘6" mattress can weigh around 12 stone and when you try to lift them they really do have a will of their own.
-
Q. What if I have a waterbed?
- A. We will provide a made to measure bed to go around your waterbed.
How to Order your bed
- Q. How do I order?
- A. Usually customers send for a brochure from the feedback page on this website to have a good look at the whole Revival Collection.
Once you've made your choice you'll have to give us a call on 01777 869669 or email us on info@squeakfree.co.uk and we'll call you. You place your order with a £100 deposit. The balance is due on delivery and installation. (There is an exception to this procedure. Occasionally we engage a third party to do a delivery and installation; for example in the North of Scotland. On these occasions we need full cleared payment prior to delivery - THIS DOESN'T EFFECT YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS OR YOUR GUARANTEE)
-
Q. How long will my bed take to be delivered once I've ordered?
- A. Typically the bed is ready for delivery in five to six weeks. It usually takes a couple more weeks to arrange delivery and install your bed.We will do our best to accommodate any special requests and time frames.

Q. How do I pay?
- A. We accept all major credit cards (with the exception of American Express). We accept cash and bankers draft on delivery. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHEQUES ON DELIVERY.

- A. The delivery and installation is included in our price.

- A. All Revival beds above 4'6" are provided with centre bars as standard.
Aftercare and Guarantees
- Q. What sort of maintenance does my bed and furniture need?

-

- A. All bed and bedroom furniture can disassembled if you move house.
