WHERE TO GO FOR THE PERFECT WARDROBE
Once up on a time not so long ago Danny and Sally became sad about their house. Over the years their tidy home became bighted by piles of gorgeous clothes and beautiful shoes, expensive shirts and trousers. Sally couldn’t bare the mess or the stress for one more day and decided a new wardrobe was the only answer.
“We’re only buying once so let’s buy the very best wardrobe we can!” declared Danny.
Before setting off to find The Perfect Wardrobe they spoke with the wise old man who warned “Do not buy a Wardrobe without a heart” and gave them each magic spectacles so they might see the wood for the trees. After a long slow journey they finally reached The Warehouse of the Swedish Giant. All was well…there were many wardrobes in many colours and sizes and prices were good. Danny decided to look through his magic spectacles and quickly realised none were made from the solid wood he wanted in his home. Also he would have to deliver and assemble the wardrobe himself or pay extra.
Sally felt lost so they went to the Store of many Departments inside the town walls. Sally looked at the beautiful wardrobes made from exotic timbers which would look fine in her home. Sally then looked through her magic spectacles and wondered if it was true what she had read about the rain forest and exotic timbers and asked the shop people to reassure her…but they could not.
Danny and Sally were tired and lonely. With still nothing to show they headed for the Shop of Discounts. They had heard the most fantastic tales of wardrobes with three or four doors that could keep everything in Sally’s house neat and tidy.
There in front of their eyes was the wardrobe they had dreamed of; it had drawers inside, shelves for shoes and lots of room for hanging all their beautiful clothes.
A man said it would take twelve weeks as it came from a far off land but they would still have to pay for it today. Suddenly Sally remembered the spectacles and lucky for her she did too because the giant wardrobe would not fit up the stairs or come apart. They couldn’t hide their disappointment and ran home as fast as their legs could carry them.
Back in their untidy home all seemed lost until Sally saw that the postman had delivered the Revival catalogue and there it was…The Perfect Wardrobe.
