How to fix up four poster bed drapes

So you have the beautiful new four poster bed you always dreamed of. It’s the big six foot one with the fantastic comfy mattress…you just can’t prise you self out in the mornings.

Now you need the finishing touch; four poster drapes, but what is the best way to attach them to the canopy?

We recommend two different techniques.

If you simply want to run a pelmet all the way around your canopy that doesn’t need to be drawn or closed double sided Velcro is the best bet. It keeps the fabric in position plus you can remove it at will.
The second way is to have strong metal curtain poles fitted behind the canopy all the way around the bed. This allows drapes and curtains to be drawn shut or tied back. Again the drapes can be removed for laundering or if you want to change the colour way you have chosen. More importantly the view from your sleeping position is that of a neat and tidy solution to a frequently asked question.
