Squirrel Under-bed Storage
IMPORTANT: ASSEMBLE THE BED IN ITS FINAL POSITION
1. Follow the instructions for assembling a normal bed or four poster to the point where you have fixed in the side rails to the head and footboards.

2. Make sure you attach the rails to the correct side of the bed and your bed should now be recognizable with the spaces for the drawers showing.

3. Next you will need to screw in place the drawer runners for the Squirrel drawers to run on.

4. Pilot holes have been pre-drilled for the drawer runners to be positioned and fixed with a screw.
This can sometimes be a tight fit so look to line up the hole as the bed has already been assembled in the factory.

5. Fix the drawer runner marked H.R. at the right hand headboard corner of the bed.
Fix the runner marked F.R. at the right hand footboard corner of the bed.
If the bed has a four drawer unit fit the runner marked C.R. across the centre as this supports the inside drawer runners

6. The adjustable feet help keep the drawers running smoothly so adjust them to take out any sagging in the rail so the drawers are fully supported.

7. Each drawer is marked with a code. Put the drawers in the correct slot following the table below. Check that they run smoothly and are not obstructed.

8. Set the drawer stops on the back of the drawer and fix the drawer stop in place with the screws provided while the drawer is in the frame.

9. Place the centre bar down the middle of the bed and the carefully lay out the webbed pack of slats.
The slats should sit on the bearers and the centre bar.
Fix the slats in place using a screws provided at each corner and down the centre bar.
