We're bed makers located at Retford in Nottinghamshire - right in the middle of Robin Hood country, and because we specialize in big beds and four posters we think we would have been the ideal company to make a bed for Little John (pictured below with Robin Hood) who was said to have measured over seven feet tall.

We're a bed delicatessen not a bed super market. We focus on service not cash 'n' carry. Many customers have been with us for years because of the personal and consistent service we provide.

We like to make sure you get the bed you want with no hassle. You can't ask too many questions.

We will work with you every step of the way from showing you around this website to installing the bed in your home - we do draw the line at tucking you into bed with a cup of cocoa.

From 1985 to 1993 the founders of Revival Beds Russell Mottishaw & Chris Nangle (pictured top) traded in antique furniture including beds and bedroom furniture in and around the Midlands.

We could find bedroom furniture like wardrobes, chests of drawers, and dressing tables relatively easily, but, finding the old and antique beds to match the bedroom furniture was nigh on impossible - the antique beds were either, broken, incomplete, or so small they'd only be any good as child's bed. This was when we realized there was a gap in this particular area of the furniture market.

It was at this point we started to build and make beds and four posters.
